Presentation by: Mike Hunn - Draeger Medical

Topic: Engineers in Regulated Industries

Mr, Hunn will explore the responsibilities of Engineers in regulated industries, particularly in healthcare, who have a primary ethical responsibility to prioritize patient safety and public health above all else. Mike will discuss key regulations and standards relevant to medical product development. He will explain the role of regulatory agencies and the importance of QA/QC systems and explain the importance of engineers understanding and adhering to regulatory requirements specific to their industry (e.g., medical devices, pharmaceuticals, aerospace). Mike’s presentation will highlight the extraordinary events and requirements surrounding the manufacture of medical supplies and equipment during the Covid epidemic. 

Continuing Education Credits: 1.0 PDH  

Your certificate will be issued at the conclusion of the presentation. The PDH is valid for PA  continuing education requirements and should be applicable for NJ continuing education  requirements. It has also been approved for NY.
