Bucks County Chapter Dinner Meeting

Presentation by: Justin J. Smith, PE - Regional Vice President - ICOP Group

Topic: Ground Improvement Case Studies 

This session will outline the soil challenges, potential solutions and a look at the operational successes of improving soil & sub-surface conditions for several challenging projects. Mr. Smith will conduct a brief discussion on ground improvement techniques & solutions before presenting site-specific case studies. These case studies will include:

·         Regional Design/Build Geotechnical projects for a rigid inclusion apartment building in Wilmington, DE;

·         Rammed Aggregate Piers for a warehouse development in Elizabeth, NJ, and

·         Rapid Impact Compaction project for a manufacturing facility in Paulsboro, NJ.

Each project will outline the soil conditions, evaluate optimal responses and examine the operational outcomes.
